I have a JVC digital recording camcorder device and I am trying to transfer some movie files that I recorded on a DV tape to my computer, what software or cords or equipment will I need to complete this task? Thank You

I’ve tried using the USB firewire cord to make a conneciton between my Sony Digital 8 Camcorder – Model # is DCR-TRV460. I’ve tried it on both XP and Vista, and cant seem to get the computer to upload the videos that I have on the tape inside of the camera.

I’ve tried to download the drivers off of the sony esupport website, no such luck in getting this thing to work.

Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

i dont know why it wont let me use it as webcam on yahoo, msn does recognize it… anybody knows if there is some kind of trick? i would really appreciate your help on this matte. thank you

I’ve just recently purchased a Canon 210 Camcorder. It has some nice features but what the vendor didn’t tell me was that I wouldn’t be able to download the video or the ’still pictures’ onto my PC for further editing. Help. All answers are appreciated.
