I plan on buying a JVC camcorder and have a couple questions?

I plan on buying a JVC camcorder. model SC-DC173U, is this a quality camcorder? what are the best mini dvds to buy? does it have a bad history? just wondering because its so cheap. thanks

    is it jvc or samsung? Panasonic zr830 or 800 is more worth.. check reviews on net…cnet, and other sites. Google is your best advisor for this.

    I never liked dvd-based camcorders.. tape based is much better, but then again videography is my job… can’t find many technical details on it such as CCD quantity or CCD size so I can’t really give my opinion. But by the looks of it, the camcorder probably only has one CCD rather than three with a size of 1/6 at most, so the image is consumer quality, nothing more…
