Is there anything besides the Cinemac G35 that would be possible to use a 35mm SLR lens with a video camcorder for a great depth of field and macro effect? I have a 55-70 lens from my Canon Rebel that I would love to be able to use with my HV20.

   I think that question is above our pay grade.

   Try 800.OK-CANON

   I could use any of Canon EOS lenses with optional adapter on my XL-1

   A good link:

   Just looking at the HV20/HV30, neither look like the have interchangeable lenses
